Mark

I was a teenager during the turbulent 1960’s. I liked rock and roll music, sports cars, keeping up with current events and other normal things. But underneath, I was seriously and desperately looking for the truth. During my years at the University of Texas at Austin, I became less and less happy, more and more angry and increasingly hopeless. At the last my lifestyle brought me to a near death experience which jolted me out of my entrenched atheism. I experienced the biggest shock of my life: there is a spiritual world. There is a God. There is also a Devil. I had been utterly on the wrong side. But when I found that to be the deepest truth that I had been searching for, the answer was clear. I wanted no part with the Darkness. I wanted to throw in my lot with the good God, the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham.

Months later I finally found some young radical Christians who could answer the question I now had. Who was Jesus? They answered me from the Bible, as well as the dedication and consecration that showed in their lives. From then on I not only believed in God. I believed also in the Messiah who’d been promised for thousands of years, Jesus of Nazareth.

1972. London, England

I dedicated my life to full time Christian service and soon moved to Europe in the early 1970’s to reach my own generation with the message of the New Testament. I ended up spending 35 years abroad, living in around 25 countries and just having a wonderful life, lived for God and for others.

There’s so much more to tell and I’ll try to do that in some of the articles that will be posted on this blog. A special interest for me became the subject of Bible prophecy and in recent years I’ve been working on a series of videos on that subject. But at least this is a start towards explaining what God has done in my life and the path He has led me in.

Sincerely, Mark McMillion

      • Hi Mark…again!
I want to join in the chorus to tell you that I thank the good Lord for your videos. Over the last 13 years, my view changed from pre-trib to post-trib. and your videos/perspective solidified this move directly from our Lord Jesus😔 This was my limited understanding of the rapture (post-trib) when I accepted Christ in 1971; but along came pre-trib preachers + teachers, books, etc. which caused me to sway in the other direction😒 I’m so thankful to God for bringing me full-circle to the truth many years later!!
Lastly, in brief, pls tell me your position re. Israel during the last 3 1/2 yrs of the great tribulation??
        Thank you…again…and God bless!!!

        • Thanks for your comment; I’m glad the videos have been a blessing to you. About Israel in the last 3 ½ years, right now I am working on the videos of Daniel chapters 10 though 12 and I will be trying to address that question in those videos. God bless you and thanks again.

  1. Mark, it is always interesting to hear another’s testimony. I found yours easy to read & inspiring. Very nicely presented, like the other material you’ve prepared: “meat in due season” (Matt 24:45b) – minced enough for those with “milk-teeth” yet nourishing for those who are of age! Well done!
I’ll be praying for your ministry!

    • Thanks, GBY; yes it’s important to hit somewhere in the middle concerning “milk and meat”. Seems like there are a lot of things around that are so advanced that most just-getting-started Christians won’t really understand. I guess that’s pretty much the audience I’m aiming to reach and write for.

    • Thanks, so glad to know that the things I’m sharing here are a blessing to you. It’s an inspiration to me to know that what I have been doing is a help to others. Thanks so much.

  2. Hi Mark
Am helping with a bible study on Daniel at our church and happened to look up your video of Ch 8.
From some of the questions you ask, it indicates that you do not hold to a pretrib rapture eschatology or have I misunderstood?
    thanks

    • That’s right, I believe that believers will be here as witnesses for Him through the Great Tribulation and that the rapture will happen after the 42 months of the reign of the AntiChrist.

  3. Thanks Mark
Just wondering then how you explain God pouring out His wrath on His bride the church. I am of the view that that it will be poured out on His now rejecting Israel to turn them to Christ as Zehariah says “They will look on Him who they pierced…” What a great and faithful God who fulfills every dot and tittle. For His names sake.
Also one of the churches in Revelation mentions them being spared from the wrath to come.

    • We are not appointed to wrath. (I Thes. 5:9; Romans 5:9). But the Great Tribulation is not the same as the wrath of God. We must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). Tribulation and wrath: not the same.

  4. Thanks but I believe the GREAT TRIBULATION is a specific time when the wrath of GOD is poured out on the earth. “the day of vengeance of our GOD”

    • The great tribulation and the wrath of God are two separate events. It is so important that we, the body of Christ understand this. Should this happen in our lifetime many will fall away I believe because they have been taught the Lord will rapture them out. I try to speak this truth of scripture in love, but it falls on deaf ears.

  5. Do you have an article on the Sat/Sun Sabbath issue? I would really like to get your take on it ? Please direct me to it !
    Thanks

  6. Well said Mark! I remember you from the good old days. I’m glad there are still some of us who haven’t bought into the political correctness mantra! It is a battlefield of the mind. Keep up the good work. GBY! -Greg

    • My understanding of the rapture, as it is called, is that it happens at the end of the 42 months of great tribulatioin, at the return of the Lord. Glad to know the videos are a blessing to you.

  7. Hi Mark, thank you for giving Almighty God His rightful place of eminence in your teachings.
Would you please send me your teachings on ‘Alexander the Great comes to Jerusalem’ and ‘Has the anti-Christ already come’? Thanks in advance and God continued blessings.

  8. Hi Mark, loved your presentations on YouTube on the prophecies of Daniel. I have been studying end time bible passages since the beginning of the year and have had my position changed on the timing of the rapture. Your video- The last 7 years was so confirming to my current view. Looking forward to any future videos you may be doing in the future. Thanks for the time and effort you have put into them all. May our Lords richest blessings continue to abide over your life. Ian.

  9. Hi Mark, I came across your video on the final 7 years today – with the great tribulation occurring from the midpoint and the idol (or its modern-day equivalent) in the temple as it’s final sign. It made a lot of sense, thank you. I’ve recently become incredibly interested in these matters. I realise I’m at the start of a very long journey, although the sense that the time is now is very strong. I began getting my head around Hebrew today, just to get a working knowledge of the language and to be able to use a lexicon. I also looked at the 7 seals of Revelation and noticed how it aligned with Matt 24. I’ve been watching an in-depth video series on YouTube, but was needing to filter a lot of extraneous information that I felt was being pulled from the text due to a poor hermeneutic. But the complexity of the timelines and the degree of accuracy of the Bible texts was impressive. Your video meshed with my beliefs a lot stronger! Do you have a written resource over and above the videos, i.e. a book or series of books? I’m currently reading Isaac Newton. Above all though, thank you for your incredibly encouraging personality that comes across: your love for Jesus, and your love for people. Best regards, Ashley.

    • Thanks for your comment; I’m glad that the blog articles and the videos I’ve worked on are a blessing to you. No, I’m not a Seventh Day Adventist but I understand what you mean as some of the things I teach have similarities to their teachings. They believe that Christians will go through “the great tribulation” that Jesus spoke of, before His return. On that point I am in agreement with the Seventh Day Adventists.

  10. I recently watched your Youtube commentary on Daniel 7. I was much impressed with your candor and calm presentation. It was very easy to follow and lined up with my understanding of the chapter. What impressed me most is your honesty on times you wern’t sure of a symbolic description in the verses as in the 2nd part of verse 5 the identity of the 3 ribs. You gave two examples of what could be what the Spirit is conveying, meaning you’re unsure to a degree. However in explaining what you see in the 1st part of verse 5 (Perisa/Media) you sound convinced as you do on most of your presentation. That tells me you are not afraid to say you’re unsure at this particular time, which tells me you possess a great degree of humility. Many I have seen will just skip the 2nd part of v.5. As for me I would always pepper into my speach when trying to convince others on Scripture “it would seem” or “perhaps” even when I was sure about the description of the verses so as to allow the person something easy to digest simply by adapting a non-aggresive approach. Very well done. I have seen many talk on this subject and other prophetic books, however you seem different. Could be you might of had another spirit like Caleb in Numb.14. Let’s get them Giants and possess the inheritance.

  11. Hi Mark!
Would you please give me your understanding on 2 Thessalonians 2:3? Do you believe the ‘falling away’ Paul speaks of here is the rapture/spatial or a departing of the faith? I would truly like to know. Thk u!!
    Sincerely

    LJ White

    • I think almost everyone who has studied this verse feels that it is talking about a falling away from faith by the world and even by some Christians. But I am aware that some folks who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture try to turn this verse into a meaning where the phrase “falling away” is somehow made to mean a gathering together of the saints. I don’t see it that way and neither have so very many teachers and students of the Word who have looked at this.

  12. Where have I been all these years to have missed out great exegesis of Scripture like this! God saw my yearning to someone to explain what I could not interpret and I found your utube Daniel 9:24 video.
    Thank you
    Vindra

    • Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. I’m glad to know that the videos and other material are a blessing to you.

  13. I just stumbled upon your site because a friend sent me a little Diddy he wrote about “Red Dawn” today one day into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

He quoted the saying ““Whom the gods would destroy they indeed first make mad!” And when I used it to search for it’s origin one of the search results was your site here. I’m digging it man. You and I have some similarities in our spirit journey.

Nevertheless, the times they are a changing. And fast. This whole crazy mess is picking up speed. I believe the Lord’s return will be soon. (Time is ready for it) Been waiting a long time for the prophetic predictions to come to pass. The technology is here to achieve ‘the mark’ and to enslave the world with evil unparalleled for a thousand years.

It’s fascinating and scary all at the same time, but needed. Keep writing. We need your voice in the wilderness proclaiming truth from the rooftops.

    You stay well.

  14. I have been so blessed to find your website. I have never believed in the pre-trib teaching as the scripture do not point to that. If one reads all of the verses thoroughly, they will see that Christians will need to stand up for their faith and possibly be beheaded before the return of Christ. Christians really need to thoroughly read their Bibles and prepare themselves spiritually for what is ahead. Current events setting up for future events. So blessed to see you Mark, proclaiming God’s truth! God bless you! Exciting times ahead!

  15. Mark I have enjoyed your teachings on Daniel. I am the son of a minister who taught pretribulation rapture. He and I did not agree on the pretribulation. My policy has always been the bible says what it says and means what it says. The pretribulation doctrine is not scriptural the verses they use even have a different meaning. It is as plain as can be Jesus tells the Disciples in Matthew he will return at the end of tribulation. He even explains how terrible tribulation will be. The opening of the seventh seal is the beginning of the wrath of God. this is different from tribulation. When the saints are taken up to Jesus, tribulation is over, and the wrath begins. This is after the last 42 months. In Revelation it says blessed are those in the first resurrection they will reign with Jesus for a thousand years on this earth. Then afterward the second resurrection and white throne judgement. Thank you for your work.
