Urdu Daniel chapter 2 video

By God’s grace I’ve been able to complete in Urdu the Daniel chapter 2 video in the “Prophecies of Daniel” series. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and one of the main languages spoken in northern India.

Daniel Chapter 2 is considered by scholars of almost all faiths to be the briefest and most concise overall picture of the history and future of the world in the entire Bible. This chapter is in many ways the foundation on which we can understand the many fulfilled prophecies of the past, as well as see what still is to be fulfilled in times soon to come.

It has often seemed to me that this chapter was intentionally designed by God as an easy first step along the path of prophecy. It’s like a preparation for the more advanced prophecy chapters, such as Daniel chapter 7. That chapter is where we will begin to really climb up into the mountains of prophecy.

Hindi Video: “इतिहास में भविष्यवाणी की शक्ति”

I’ve been able to complete in Hindi the beginning video in the Prophecies of Daniel series, which in English is called “An Introduction to Prophecy in History”.

For many people, Biblical prophecy is something they’ve never heard of and have no knowledge of. In the video I try to introduce this phenomenon as it frequently was seen in the history of ancient Israel. This class also sets the stage and background with the history of ancient Israel, against which chapters in Daniel repeatedly foretell the future to come. The video can be seen at this link:

The Book of Daniel Chapter 12 video, “The End and Beyond”

I’ve been able to complete the video about the last chapter in the book of Daniel, chapter 12. There the angel highlights the main points of the future that have been revealed to Daniel and, in the last verses in the chapter, adds a surprising final revelation that takes us further beyond “the end”.

I started this series of videos on the prophecies of Daniel around 19 years ago so it’s something of a milestone for me to have finished the series. And in doing this video, I came to a much greater appreciation of this chapter and all that is there.

Even though Daniel 12 is the shortest chapter in the book, this video turned out to be over 50% longer than any of the earlier videos on Daniel, mainly because there was so much to go into, to unpack and then to explain.  Jesus Himself actually quoted from this chapter when he was answering His disciples’ questions about His second coming.

In these presently strange, dire times we’re passing through, it was a comfort and clarification for me to look again at how things will actually all turn out, according to God’s prophetic Word. I was reminded of what the true battles are that we should fight, how the disciples of the final days are suppose to conduct themselves and the genuine heavenly vision they should have. Currently there are so many distracting local skirmishes going on. So it helps to see again what the battle lines of the final endtime will be and what our roles will be then, and now as well.

I hope you enjoy the video. Below is the link to it on YouTube.

The book of Daniel chapter 11-b, “The Last 3½ Years”

First, on a personal note, I’m doing well, staying healthy, active and looking forward to the many things on the plate and in the works over the next few months.

As most of you know, one of my main occupations in the last few years has been to work on the production of videos on the subject of the prophecies of Daniel in the Bible. Around 2014, having completed videos through Daniel chapter 9 in English, I began to concentrate on doing them in foreign languages. It worked out, thank you Lord, that videos have now been done in 14 languages besides English and a total of over 60 videos have been placed on my site and on YouTube.

Then this year I felt I should swing back towards doing them in English again and to try to finish the rest of the book of Daniel. So far 3 new English videos have been done in 2020 and there is only one more left to do.

I’ll include here the link to the one that went up a week ago, about the last 15 verses in Daniel chapter 11. Those 15 verses are possibly the summit in the study of the book of Daniel. The passage is one of the most detailed and specific views of the last 3½ years before the return of Jesus that can be found in the Scriptures,  an in-depth view of the action, events and characters that will be at the forefront of the last few years before the return of Jesus to establish His rule on earth.

I hope you are all well, staying healthy and also inspired by all the Lord is doing in the lives of people around the world during this trying time.

Daniel 11-a, verses 1- 31

I’ve been able to complete the next video in English in the Prophecies of Daniel series. This one covers the verses in Daniel chapter 11, up to verse 31. Daniel chapter 11 is where Jesus pointed His disciples to when they asked about His return at the end of this age. A three week battle went on between the forces of God and Satan before the message given to Daniel in chapters 11 and 12 was able to reach the prophet. The chapter is long and somewhat intricate; the lynchpin verse is verse 31. This portion of Daniel 11 pertains to “the first 3½ years” of the last 7 years before the return of Jesus. The book of Daniel chapter 10 video

I’ve been able to complete the video about chapter 10 of the book of Daniel. While this chapter isn’t a prophetic chapter, it is one of the strongest ones in the Bible to show the realities of the spiritual world and the battles that go on there. Daniel chapter 10 presents the scene and the events leading up to one of the most significant messages ever given to a prophet of God in the Old Testament. So significant in fact that Jesus of Nazareth Himself some 550 years later specifically referred to parts of the messenger given by an angel to Daniel in this experience. And Jesus went on to say of this, “whosoever reads, let him understand”.

Daniel chapters 10 through 12 are almost certainly one event but it was divided up into chapters, perhaps because it was so long. I’m very glad to be getting this video up on YouTube, the first one I have done in English in 6 years. Presently I am far along with the next video after this one. That one covers Daniel 11 from verses 1 to 31. Here’s is the link to the Daniel 10 video:

Hungarian Daniel 7 video: “Dániel könyve 7. fejezet”

I’ve been able to complete the Hungarian version of the video on the book of Daniel chapter 7. Daniel 7 is the Old Testament chapter that most thoroughly prepares us for the book of Revelation. The imagery, information, characters and timing found in Daniel 7 are all seen more fully in Revelation. I believe much of Daniel 7 has been fulfilled. But the parts Daniel himself was most desirous to know about are for the endtime soon to come. Here is the link to the video:

Did the ancient prophets actually exist?

Are the writings of the ancient prophets just all Jewish myths? Some people have written to tell me that the prophecies of Daniel are mere myths, with no historical foundation. I’m sure millions of people have heard and accepted that idea. But is it true? Are the prophecies of Daniel—or those of Isaiah, David, and other ancient prophets—just elaborate fabrications? Were they invented by clever men to deceive and control others?

To some of you, that may sound extreme. But, believe me, there are hundreds of millions of people who look at things this way and I hear from them nearly every day. And to be fair, it’s a valid question: how can we really know? These writings date back hundreds of years before the time of Jesus—ancient history, distant and remote for most people. It’s easy to assume that they’re unverifiable and irrelevant, perhaps even the cultural baggage of another race, religion, or nationality. Some go as far as to conclude that the entire thing is rubbish.

But is it? Can we get to the root of this question—can we find empirical, historical evidence—without slipping into mysticism or religious rhetoric? Thankfully, the answer is a resounding yes.

You may not share my nationality, faith, or background. You might not agree with my worldview, or even like “my people.” But some things stand beyond personal belief or identity.  For example, if I said “Two plus two makes four”, the majority of you would not find fault with that. (Don’t laugh; there are those who will definitely argue with that assertion.)

“So how can we factually know that the ancient prophets truly and fully existed in real time?”

The best answer I can give to as broad a range of people, beliefs and views of all kinds is this: research the Dead Sea Scrolls. This isn’t a matter of your faith verses mine, your nation verses mine. This is about one of the most concrete, well-documented archaeological discoveries of the modern era.

Here’s what happened. In 1947, a shepherd boy searching for a stray sheep threw a rock into a cave near the Dead Sea and heard something shatter. Curious, he climbed inside and discovered ancient urns, some containing scrolls with writing on them. This was the beginning of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls—a collection of manuscripts stored in caves around the time of Jesus, over 2,000 years ago. These scrolls have since been recognized as one of the most important archaeological finds of the last century.

And let me just add that this is not about, or contingent on Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Communism, Hinduism, Buddhism or any other faith. This is about something as definite and concrete as anything can be known to be real in our times. The reason these scrolls are so significant is that they contain at least parts of every book in the Old Testament except Ester. Some whole and complete books are in the Dead Sea Scrolls collection, like the book of Isaiah and the book of Deuteronomy.

These are the actual physical writings from 2000 years ago, visible, touchable, utterly verifiable and known to be real by scientists around the world, uncontested when it comes to the facts of their existence. Furthermore, when these ancient texts were compared to what are now found in the Old Testament scriptures in the Bibles of our times, they corresponded almost completely exactly to the way we have received the Scriptures that we have today.

So, if someone claims that the writings of the ancient prophets are just myths—like fairy tales rewritten over and over again until they’ve lost all original meaning, I suggest you do some research yourself on the Dead Sea scrolls. If English is not your first language, I’m sure there are reputable sources of scientific information in your language which explain in much more detail than I have here about these things.

You may not like what the ancient prophets told. Perhaps because of the crisis in the Middle East for the last 70 years, you may even be someone who has a strong prejudice against anything remotely Jewish. But I hope, if you are a seeker and lover of truth, pure and real truth from the God of truth, the God of Abraham, I suggest you research these things to find out if the ancient prophets of God were a reality. God bless you in your search. Jesus said, “Seek and you shall find.” (Matthew 7:7)

Indonesian Daniel 7 video; “Kitab Daniel Pasal 7”

I’ve been able to complete the Indonesian version of the video on the book of Daniel chapter 7.

Italian Daniel chapter 7 video: “Il libro di Daniele capitolo 7”

I’ve been able to complete the Italian version of the video on the book of Daniel chapter 7. Daniel chapter 7 is the chapter in the Old Testament that most thoroughly prepares us for the book of Revelation. The imagery, information, characters and timing found in Daniel 7 are all seen more fully in Revelation. In this 28 minute video, I’ve tried to teach Daniel 7 from what’s known as a “Pre-millennial”, “Post-tribulation” view. I believe much of Daniel 7 has been fulfilled. But the parts Daniel himself was most desirous to know about are for the end time soon to come. Here is the link to the English version of the Daniel chapter 7 video on YouTube.
